The Roy B. Culler, Jr. Senior Center was brought to the city of High Point in May of 1991. It is certified by the state of North Carolina as a “Center of Excellence.” This facility serves as a recreational center for High Point’s senior community. The Culler Center provides these active adults with necessities of different kinds and caters to each individual in a unique way through a variety of programs, classes, and activities on a daily basis.
Types of programs include: exercise, arts and crafts, movies, guest speakers, health screenings, club meetings, parties, holiday celebrations, cultural events, entertainment, and much more. The Culler Center offers a variety of group trips, including tours, theatre, and sight-seeing. The Culler Center houses a game room, space for crafts, activities, a craft shop, and multi-purpose meeting rooms in which every individual can express their creative sides.
